Din Arshad's comments on the winning photo:
1. Have strong visual elements that consist of pattern, lines, form and shape.
2. The structural elements of balance, unity, linear and proportion made a good impact of photograph. In term of concept it give a sense of tranquility and peace in the shot. I like the approach of keeping it simple and focus.
Camera used for the Winning shot:
Canon EOS 450D, 10mm focal length, 1/160s @ f11, ISO100
I bought my first DSLR camera about one year ago, by then it accompany me on all of my travel journeys and the trip will become “tasteless” without it.
I started shooting with DSLR for my work as a business development in travel industry and it became my hobby which bring me lot of happiness and the happiness was shared with many on every completion of journey.
The Inspiration behind the Shot:
This picture was captured at Pulau Aur on a business inspection trip; Whole Island was planted with coconut trees. I found this coconut tree in a village near by the beach and it took me about 30 minutes trekking to this spot.
Advise to Fellow Photographers:
Find difference angles, capture it with as many difference settings as you can and choice those you think the only way to view the freeze moment is from your lens.
Shared the happiness with others and happiness from the others is the energy of moving forward.
我实在不知道, 也看不董Din Arshad's 的comments, 我知道的是, 你的努力我们都感受得到, 并引以为荣!加油!
